Every kid is born with a sparkling aura, they emit pure energy with fearless smiles. But what happened when we grow up?

To shine like a star one has to twinkle which means we should give them space to explore their interest, area and time frame. Every kid has the right to shine, live happily and feel safe.
Our kids have the power to bring a change into the world, but most of them don’t even have a glimpse of this universal gift. Why? That’s because as a parent we don’t invest time to understand why our child behaves a certain way, I feel it is a guardian’s responsibility and accountability to teach them the importance of Love and Peace and trust me this can empower your child with abundant features of the human race. The children can even develop new specialities as they experience different conditions in life.

Siddhartha, an innocent prince of eastern India/ Nepal between the 6th and 4th centuries spent his childhood in the lap of luxury. The sudden loss of his mother at an early age introduced him to the PAIN. He started observing people and their sufferings. Sooner he realized that he can feel the miseries of the world. The prince was sent to the Gurukul or Hostel for formal education. He learnt the Hindu sacred scriptures and later he returned home to marry a princess. They had a beautiful family with a son and lived for ten years as befitted royalty. Later the young boy discovered his deep-rooted interest in humanity and wisdom so he decided to leave the lavish royal life to live the meaningful life of a wandering ascetic with simplicity.

As soon as we realize the greater purpose, we start shining. One day, seated beneath the Bodhi tree sometimes called the tree of awakening in Bodh Gaya, Siddhartha started absorbing and reflecting the voices of his subconscious mind, in the state of deep meditation, he was able to connect the experience of life and his compassionate senses towards miseries. Humanity, kindness, love and empathy are the universal feelings, he determined to unwind the layers of wisdom and truth. He finally attained Enlightenment and became the Buddha- The ‘Enlightened/Awakened One’. Since then the Buddha is the central figure of the Buddhist religion in Asia.

We as a parent can remind them to brush up on the gifted specialities and talents so that they can bring out the shine of a true soul into their actions as they grow up. A medical student named Arya Aldrin from the Idukki district of Kerala, India has faced concerns amidst the Russia-Ukraine war conflict. The young girl has shown her inner strength with compassionate and restless efforts. She not only rescued her Siberian Husky dog– Zaira but also she managed to start a self-motivated social helpline to help the other student trapped in the eastern part of the actual war zone and borders of Ukraine. She is a born star but the world saw her shine during the most critical situation of War. We never know when and how our kids can start shining.

I again say, The Children are born stars, the more you clean the dust the more they shine. Their mind and heart and spirit must be clean. The sweetness of humility, respect for all, good wishes and blessings, care and love are some of these lovely qualities that can empower your child under all circumstances. Admire and love to let them experience progress, in both the positive and negative situations of life.
